The heavily revised Cayenne SE Hybrid has a more powerful electric motor and enlarged 14.1 Kwh battery pack.  This PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle) will charge in a few hours with 240V service, and be good for about 50km of electric only range in good conditions.  The electric vehilcle heating and cooling can be set in advance or remotely, which means that you can pre-heat the vehicle with your smart phone before departure.  This vehicle is about the same price as the similar-perfomance Cayenne S, so you are not paying a premium for the Lithium Ion Battery Pack, Electric motor, brake regeneration, or auxillary climate control.
